2021年3月1日、イケメン2人組YouTuberのみきおだが、「いつか別々の道と歩む」と宣言したことが話題になっている。チャンネル登録者数100万人を記念した動画内で、2人はお互いに感謝を伝え、それぞれの今後の展望ついて語った。みっきーは「挑戦したいこと」の1つとして、アイドルのプロデュースをすることを発表した。

みっきーは「挑戦したいことができた。おだけいはスーパースターになるという目標があるので、足を引っ張りたくない。」と語り、「いつか別々の道を歩むことになる」と涙した。動画内では、おだけいはみっきーへの感謝の手紙と手作り弁当を贈り、みっきーが美味しそうに食べる姿も撮影されていた。

おだけいは当初の通り「スーパースターになる」ことを目標に、ファーストシングルのリリースなど歌方面でも積極的に活動開始している。アイドルオタクとしても知られるみっきーは、挑戦したいことの1つとして「アイドルのプロデュースを開始する」と発表し、おだけいと視聴者を驚かせた。
